Dr. James DiCicco is a lifelong resident of New York City and received his Bachelor of Science at Fordham University. He graduated from Farleigh Dickinson University of School of Dentistry, achieving a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Dr. DiCicco published his thesis on, The Value of Measuring Orthodontic Forces, while attending the Graduate School of Dentistry at Farleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry.  His distinction on this research awarded him a Masters in the Science of Dentistry in Orthodontics.  His enthusiasm in the sciences and a willingness to share his knowledge, accepted Farleigh Dickinson’s offer to teach histology, imaging and orthodontics.  He taught for six years.      

Dr. DiCicco enlisted in the Public Health Service of the United States, and was assigned to the United States Coast Guard Academy.  His service as a Dentist during his 2 years, and his dedication to his country and in providing quality dental care to his fellow serviceman, continues to fill him with pride and humility.

He is sole proprietor of Family Dentistry Associates in the Westchester, NY and Long Island, NY.  As a practicing Orthodontist for more than 30 years, Dr. DiCicco's conservative approach to orthodontic treatment inspires confidence and trust in all his patients.  His successful career in orthodontics continues to flourish! His love of the benefits, and improvement of one’s self-esteem that orthodontic treatment can offer, never diminishes.

Dr. DiCicco served his community as President of the Lions Club tirelessly volunteered his time and energy in fund raising for the School of the Seeing Eye Dogs.  As the first male president of the Parent Teacher Association in the Byram Hills School District, Armonk, NY, he devoted 3 years of his time helping to improve relations between parent and teachers. His 3 year term as Commodore of the New York Athletic Club Yacht Club, in Travers Island, Pelham, NY, was both challenging and rewarding.    

Dr. DiCicco is a passionate sailor and golfer.  His many hobbies include cooking, baking and winemaking.  He plays piano, enjoys music, dance and opera.  He is the New York Yankees most devoted fan, and a big Star Trek aficionado.
